Summary:
The TP-7260 Temperature Probe Simulator is intended primarily for testing and troubleshooting thermistor thermometers, temperature controllers and data loggers that use YSI* 400 (2252 Ohm at 25 degrees C ) and YSI 700 (6KOhm / 30KOhm at 25 degrees C) Series Temperature Probes**. When substituted for probes, the Simulator provides accurate outputs for setup and calibration of temperature measuring and controlling instruments. Since the Simulator eliminates the probe as a variable, it helps determine whether measurement problems are caused by the probe or the measuring instrument.

Other useful applications of these Simulators include training personnel in the correct setup and operation of temperature measuring instruments and in quickly identifying malfunctioning temperature probes.

This Temperature Simulator contains precision, thermally stable, resistive networks to simulate selected temperatures. A rotary switch permits selection of eleven temperatures designated in degrees Centigrade.

Cables are available to connect Simulators to most temperature measuring and controlling instruments. Typical instruments are electronic thermometers, temperature chambers, and temperature controlled analytical laboratory instruments.
